I just saw this article regarding a new phone from Samsung. The Galaxy S Plus i9001

It comes with a 1.4 GHz processor, Android 2.3

I'm not sure that i'm willing to buy a new phone just yet. I mean my cappy still works just fine. Its still faster than alot of phones as it is a high end phone. Granted, there are faster ones, but thats just how it works. Your new whatever is outdated as soon as you buy it.

I don't think tis the exact same one. Not all of these processors can handle 1.4, they've probably tweaked it a bit.

Yeah, turns out it was just a mobile review guy saying it on Twitter. I wouldn't put much into it either.
