Galaxy S10 plus has no check for software update option

[Android Central Question]

When I open up settings there is a blue banner that says there is a software update available. When I select it nothing happens and my option in Settings; General has no check for software updates. I've tried a soft reset and cleared the cache on my phone with no success.

Welcome to Android Central! A system update notification should be in the notification panel, not as a blue banner, as far as I know. I'd be a little suspicious about that.

I'm sorry can't post screen shot. but when I pull down the settings menu that is where right under settings it has a blue banner saying "A software update is available".
I had this phone for several years and had a third party unlock it from Sprint. When I did the unlock it updated at that time, but now I notice there is no option for checking for updates.

What about going into settings>click on software update?

mustang7757 posted the link for how to share screenshots in his first reply to you. Be aware that if you're using the main Android Central app, I don't think you can post images in a reply -- you have to use the website, or the Tapatalk-based AC Forums app.

Easy mode you still see software update

Not sure why your missing that but you can try flash the stock firmware
