Galaxy S10: The ability to edit files which are located on SD card.

I have a Galaxy S10.

I work a lot with MP3 files and store them on my SD card to play from an app.

However, I have found that I can only edit MP3 tags when the MP3 is located in internal memory.

Is there a storage SD card setting I have missed, or is it NOT possible to edit files while they are on the SD card on an S10?

It's a bit of a hassle to move files from the SD card to internal memory every time I need to do some MP3 tag editing....

Welcome to the forums. I don't have this phone, but I do know Android has restricted write permissions on SD cards to remove some security flaws. Now apps have to specifically request SD card write access that you agree to. It may be that your current editor is unable to handle this properly. Have you tried other editors?
