Galaxy S10e does not recognize flash drive

[Android Central Question]

Flash drive plugged directly into phone is not recognized. I do not want to use a computer. Neither Smart Switch or MyFiles recognize it at all. Tried various brands of flash - no luck.

Some had luck while others haven't , but you tried this in safe mode ?

Welcome to Android Central! Does the flash drive have OTG built-in? If not, use an OTG adapter. Some Samsung phones come with an OTG adapter in the box, so see what came with the phone.
