Started this since most threads are labeled Ultra or with specific items and this is about all 22 series general info...

"According to the leaked information, Samsung will launch the Exynos 2200 versions of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra in Europe, CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States), Southwest Asia, Middle East, and Africa. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 versions of the smartphones will go on sale in China, Japan, Latin America, North America, South Korea, and Southeast Asia."

Thank you so much for posting this link! If I consider the S22 line, I'd for sure want the regular S22 (assuming it's smaller than the rest). Thanks again for the info on the entire line!

Edit: Looks like the 6.1" S22 may be right up my alley!

Thanks for sharing this information. :) I'm really interested in the S22 Ultra, since I've never had a Note but love the S Pen on my Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

I'm considering selling my S21 Ultra 256 and getting the S22 256 and a Galaxy tab s7. Depends on the pricing of the S22. If it's too much, then I'll get the S21 FE. I'd really like to have a tablet and for my needs, the S21 Ultra was too much money for me. It's just not worth the $1249 I am paying for it. Especially when I can get a powerful enough base Samsung phone and a tablet for roughly the same amount per month.

I was considering selling it just buying an S21 but I might as well just wait for the S22. My main reason is I'm just tired of playing games on my phone. A tablet is better suited for gaming than a phone. Plus my wife and I like to watch different shows at the same time sometimes. Or she'll be watching a show and I'll be playing a game.

S21U black is a great looking phone. However, I find the Pixel 6 Pro in either cloudy white or the black/gray color to be better looking. But looks are subjective and I find the S22U is also a great looking phone.

The S21 ultra was a bit too top heavy due to large camera setup and no place for S pen. Both of those shortcomings were rectified in the S22 Ultra.

Yes it was a bit top heavy but have to think the overall weight of the 22 will be very close if not heavier than the 21. Adding width for the pen and adding the pen might make overall heavier.

IMO, nothing wrong with being heavy, provided its well balanced this time around.

Here is the front and back!!

I didn't realise how long and narrow it is. Not sure I like it as much now. How does it compare to the Note 20 Ultra?

From rumors... the S22U is actually shorter and wider than the Note 22 U... and a smidge thicker. And we're talking about 100th of an inch difference both ways.

For me I've been daily carrying/pocketing my N20U and perfectly fine with it. I did have a Spigen Clear and the extra 2-3 mm in dimension I don't like. I use a LaterCase Kevlar case that adds like a millimeter or 2 and it's perfect. My coworker has a N20U with Otterbox because he can't trust himself to not drop it and that thing looks like a brick to me. No thanks.
