I would like to know if this feature works for transmitting to an audio AUX bluetooth receiver jack in my car, is it even possible? Or is this something strictly for making/receiving calls? I was just wondering b/c i wanted to cut down on on the wires, and i was looking into buying a bluetooth receiver, so I'd like to know if the S3 feature could even handle that

Thanks

I Stream music from my Droid X Via Bluetooth All the time. I use Pandora or Music off my SD card. I Have a Cheap Sony Xplode deck that I picked up cheap and had installed for under $300 just for this reason. When I have BT turned on and I start my car, a phone icon and a music icon show up on my Sony Radio and then i switch to BT Audio as my source.

So I am assuming that this is also going to work on the Galaxy S3 or at least I hope so Becuase I also Pre-ordered one 2 weeks ago through VZW. I have also Hooked up feature phones of my friends the same way when they had music on their phone that they wanted to hear. This option is also usually Clearer and better sounding audio then an AUX cable( at least on my radio with my DX)

Steps are usually pretty simple. The receiver has to be put into discovery mode. Then you turn on your BT on your Phone and it should discover the Radio. Then you just pair them and go.

Hope this helped.

Also just noticed you have a Thunderbolt. To test this just go into your local Best Buy or store where you are looking at the receiver and usually you can pair up a device with the display models. I actually did this 3 years ago when I got my Sony to make sure my BB Storm could do it, before i got my DX

thanks for the help and instruction, I was not sure how the audio/streaming music through bluetooth worked, I will take a look at those BB units and patiently wait for the s3

I'm not really sure about the units themselves, my car doesn't have the capability by itself, and since i'm getting the s3 I wanted to see if they manufacture units that have the ability to connect to a phone for the streaming music and audio. I don't want to replace the factory stereo
