AC Question

So, recently my S3 has not been charging and I thought it was due to my battery. I recently bought a new battery, and it worked for a few hours until the battery died and when I tried to charge it, it wouldn't charge. I know it's not the battery, I think it's my phone because I tested it out with my mom's phone. I put my battery into her phone, and it charged perfectly fine so I think there's something wrong with my phone!! Help please.

Welcome to Android Central! There might be a problem with the phone's microUSB port, or possibly the motherboard. Use a can of compressed air to blow out the port, and also try a different charging cable/wall plug.

Hi there I also have a galaxy S111 that has problems with charging. The best advice I can offer when charging is #1- turn off wifi, location, sync and brightness. This will help speed up the charge. Also, when you can, turn off the phone to charge, this also will help speed up the charge. Also I have noticed thatv if I plug the charger directly into wall socket, it works better than on an extension cord. Lastly, check your cord. Sometimes they wear down from constantly plugging and unplugging. I would hear it beep on and off while charging so I switched the cord and it works better. Hope this helps
