Galaxy S3. Locking Up at Start up

I would appreciate anybodies help with this issue.
I have a Galaxy S3 19300. The phone is locked up on the start up screen, where it show the samsung logo, usually it will go the the home screen, but stays on the start up screen and will not respond.
I have tried to do a factory reset.
Anybody experience this? Any suggestions.
