Galaxy s3 mms issue on tmobile

Hello new to this but here is my quetion anyone ran into a issue were any mms pic someone sends you i receive it as vidieo caany one help galaxy s3 4.1.1 on tmobile

Common problem with the S3. I changed to Go SMS Pro and it works as it should.

It's not a video. It's a slide show that plays by default when pictures are received.

But, without switching applications, is there any way to change this?

Like when I share a photo directly from the gallery app it doesn't play in a slideshow. But when my friends (even on other GS3s) send me stuff it plays in a slideshow and I can't zoom in to see it without saving it to my device.

I'm not sure if you can change it. Unless you switch to a third part app like hand cent or gosmspro
