galaxy s3 phone wont charge

Hi, i got my new phone about a week ago and i went to go charge it and it wont charge. there is nothing on the screen i have tried 4 different sockets and nothing has solved it. any suggestions?

Different cables?

Take that baby to your carrier store and get them to give you a NEW phone or a different model.
