Galaxy s3 phone wont turn on?

I was just texting on my phone, and it randomly shuts off. I thought that maybe the screen just locked but when I hit the unlock button nothing happened. My phone will not turn on and I feel like Ive tried everything. I took the battery out and put it back in, ive tried turning it on without the battery, ive tried holiding down the volume up, home and lock, ive tried holding the volume down, home and lock, ive tried taking the sim and sd card out, and nothing has worked. The only time i get a slight response is when I plug it in WITHOUT the battery, the red LED charging light comes on for a minute or two, then goes off, but if i try to charge it with the battery in it, nothing happens. I tried some one elses battery in my phone and still nothing, also when I put my battery into their phone, it worked like normal, so i know it can't be the battery. any ideas on what's wrong?

Sorry, your phone is a serious problem, I think the only way is through the computer upgrade your phone, try Odin flash the original firmware if it can enter download mode.
