Galaxy S3 will work plugged into charger but will shut off when charger is disconnected. What can I do to fix this?

Galaxy S3 will work plugged into charger but will shut off when charger is disconnected.

Battery shows charged 100% but drops to 93% and phone shuts off when you disconnect charger. Phone will not turn on unless it is connected to charger. When you try to turn the phone on, off charger, you get the Samsung then the Galaxy screen and they just go back and forth. You can use phone while it is on charger. Battery appears to be ok physically.

I would check to see if your battery is the culprit here. Do you have a spare battery or a friend with the same phone, or maybe a carrier store that can let you try the battery from another phone just to check?
