Galaxy S3 wont recognize my contacts?

For the past few weeks now, at random, when im texting some one, my phone will display the number instead of the contacts... as if it forgot that number was already entered? It will do this for all contacts but when I restart my phone it will automatically sync all my contacts again? Its getting very frustrating as Im having to restart my phone once a day now. Any advice? Has this happened to any one else? How did you fix it?

Are you running something like Facebook? That's been known to cause strange behavior with contacts.
