galaxy s3 wont root after OTA update of kit kat 4.4.2

Hello i have a galaxy s3 from sprint and recently when i got the ota kit kat update i lost root well lately ive been trying to get root back and its not working for me at all ive tried a bunch of ways and no sucess if anyone could help that would be great

Go to https://towelroot.com/ using your phone. Click on the lambda to start the download. Locate the apk and run it. Once rooted go to Google Play and download either Super user or Super SU and run it. You should now have root.
