Galaxy S4: StartTLS option in email app

Greetings!
I just activated my Galaxy S4 and am setting up my email for my business. I have all our email settings and noticed that our server requires StartTLS for outgoing (SMTP) messages though the only options in setting up the outgoing mail server settings is SSL or TLS. Selecting TLS or TLS (Accept all certificates) returns an error stating no response from my server though I know the server is up and operational.

Why don't I have an option for StartTLS in the outgoing server settings?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This query is now a year old but I have just come across the same problem (for my inbox), and other people may still have similar questions. In my Samsung Galaxy Note 3, when I try to set up an email account, I do not find STARTTLS for security as is required by my service provider. The solution is to set up an M (gmail) account, which does have STARTTLS. You can specify any email address besides gmail. Here are the steps: Settings - General - Accounts - Add account - Personal (POP3) (rather than Email).
