Unsure about an unlocked version, but what carrier are you talking about as far as release? Pricing has been revealed - depending on what size you want.

I preordered the unlocked one and the guy i called told me it would ship on wed. so that got me excited! I'm sure the others wont be far behind

Verizon began selling the S3 on July 12, AT&T began on July 6. However, there were delays that pushed the launch on AT&T from its original launch date of June 18

I was hoping AT&T wouldn't have it until May, as that's when my current 2 year time is up. Does this mean I can't preorder?

I would call ATT once they confirm release date. They might let you upgrade early.

I don't think they have early upgrades. My upgrade is 2nd week in May. I was told that you have to pay the full price for the device but they can credit your account the difference or something.

I would call ATT once they confirm release date. They might let you upgrade early.

Yeah, a rep at AT&T yesterday told me if you are due for an upgrade this year, they may move it up for you. And they definitely do have early upgrades. You pay 200 or $250 more than the lowest subsidized price if you qualify. I upgraded to the iPhone 5 on launch and qualify for an early upgrade.

Why would you even want to preorder? If your update is in may then that means you can walk in and purchase. Am i missing something here because i haveny heard of any preorder bonus
