Is there a way to make the s5 delete texts all at once instead of it making me select the check box at the top to wipe the convo? I just want to be able to trash a convo immediately instead of the above route...

In the main list of conversations, have you tried long pressing one and seeing if that brings up a delete option?

It does. And then take me to the screen where I have to then click the top check mark box to delete the convo. Not a huge deal but a bit annoying the way they have it implemented.

Sorry, I haven't used a Samsung in quite some time. So there is no delete all or a checkbox for all the messages?

When I choose delete this is what I get. Instead of the message going away, I am given the choice to selectively delete certain texts, or I click the top check box to get rid of the whole thing.

Ok. I don't think Samsung has the OS set up to delete messages the way you would like.
