Should an original S5 have printed on the back cover "Galaxy S5" ? I saw versions with this both printed and not.

Hard to say. There are, currently, 40 different genuine models of the Samsung Galaxy S5 available worldwide. See, 40 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide

Not to mention all the clone phones around. See, Galaxy S5, Fake Clone or Genuine - Dummies Guide

Just checked my Samsung Galaxy S5 worldwide model, G900F, unbranded and it just has the word, "Samsung", on the back cover.

Mine says "OtterBox" (sorry, not helping) - I'm with ironass though - I believe that mine just says "Samsung".

Where are you located, @cpper? And who's your carrier?

I'm from Romania. I want to buy an used S5 in mint condition but want to be sure that I don't get a fake one. I saw many vids regarding fakes but don't remember to have seen something about the back cover.

Sprint is my carrier. It reads Samsung and Galaxy S5 on the back cover. And a bunch of dotted impressions I guess to keep it from sliding around a bit on a smooth surface.

Mine says Galaxy S5, centered to the right of the speaker port. Also has AT&T death star centered below the flash LED window.

Mine has Samsung S5 at the bottom and Verizon 4G LTE below the camera flash.

I'm on Verizon and the back cover has the Galaxy S5 writing on the bottom part of the back cover as well as Verizon 4G LTE under the camera.
