Galaxy S5 only running 3G

Bought an unlocked Galaxy S5 in Taiwan, and it's only running 3G in the USA. Can anyone help here? Thanks

Which model of Galaxy S5 did you get as per #1.2 of 40 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide as there is the possibility that it will not be compatible with the U.S. 4G/LTE networks.

try go under network connections in settings>more networks>mobile network>network mode then choose the network you want.for me the top one shows lte so i chose that.
