Hi guys, i tried to upgrade my s5 android from 4.4.4 kitkat but, with any program i try it says it has the lastest software installed. I want to upgrade to 5.1 lolipop like everybody else, but its not working with kies, neither smart switch. Is there a way to upgrade it with rooting? I never tried before and i really would apreciate some help.
My firmware is G901FXXU1ANH6

Check out the guide below, this can help force the upgrade on to your phone if it is actually available for your phone. It will wipe all your data on your phone so make sure to back up your photos and whatever else you need.
