Galaxy s5 taking too long to "restore" after a factory reset

[AC Question]

Okay so my phone went through a factory reset and booted up to the welcome screen. I was automatically signed in and after Google Privacy or something like that Since Friday I had tried this factory reset and it was stuck in recovery, I turned off the phone and turn it back on and its was stuck in recovery again. Now I've decided to leave it overnight to let it restore but now its 7 a.m. and its still stuck in recovering. I don't know if anybody can help me in this issue.

Welcome to Android Central! Was this an unexpected factory reset that happened on its own? Or did you do it because the phone was malfunctioning?

What exactly does the screen show?

The phone was displaying a black screen so i was told to factory reset it. So yeah it was malfunctioning.. The screen is showing Restoring... skip is greyed out but i can click back

Does it say what it's restoring from? Your Google account or your Samsung account?
