Galaxy S5 Video Recording to View on Gear 2 Neo?

I am pretty sure I am missing something here.... I would think that the video from the built-in video recorder on the S5 would be compatible with the Gear 2. After tinkering a bit, it appears that the Gear 2 requires 3GP; not the MP4 format that the native video recorder supports.

I used a video conversion app and it actually worked OK, but would like to find a more seamless solution. Perhaps an app that records in 3GP?
