Galaxy S6 Edge+ 32Gig And 4kVideo? Will It Be A Problem?

Im getting a 32 gig s6 edge plus in gold because thats the color i really wanted wanted and decided too not get the 64 gig cuz it only comes in black but im hearing that 4k video takes up extra space im assuming thats with any smartphone that supports 4k video but will it be a problem on my 6 edge ? like how much extra space does 4k video take up exactly? and should i consider returning it for a 64 gig and be stuck with a color i dont want ,looks over storage and or function though im not sure if function really counts here but if it does by all means put ur two cents in advice is welcome here or will 32 gigs be fine? i mean i know i could move stuff around maybe delete stuff here n there but thats such a hassel and i know theres cloud storage too ease it up a bit moving pics or videos/files too make room for apps n extra pics n videos n such but would i really need the cloud? i mean only currently have about 700+ pictures a few videos and maybe a few saved music sound tracks and ringtones and maybe 8 to 9 gigs of apps i use utube for music n stuff mostly :| but then again with a new better phone i suspect all of these things would probably increase but im not sure e.e

So i just shot a 30 sec UHD vid on note5 and it's 180MB. The limit on UHD capture seems to be 5 min videos. Resolution technology is way ahead of memory storage. Imo 32 is fine but huge UHD vids will need to be offloaded from your phone to ur comp. So my answer is neither 32 GB nor 64 is enough if u plan on taking a lot of 4k vids.

oh but but 32 n 64 is all thats available there are no 128 models where i live T.T boooooo!!! and like i said i didnt go with th 64 gig cuz it doesnt come in gold but now that i hear 4k takes up alot of space im wondering about changing the 32 gig for 64 but im not sure i really liked the gold but i mean 64 wud be also good for the extra space if i do wind up taking some 4k videos id just be stuck with color i dont like

Have you tried recording something in 1920x1080p (60fps) to see what that looks like for you? If you like it, it would sure take up a lot less room. That's what I have mine set to currently and it looks good to me.

Yeah 1080 is even high for me. Unnecessary to use 4k right now. I don't even have a 4k tv yet to watch it lol.

Have you tried recording something in 1920x1080p (60fps) to see what that looks like for you? If you like it, it would sure take up a lot less room. That's what I have mine set to currently and it looks good to me.

I hadn't put much thought into storage capacity prior to my purchase. In hind sight, I definitely should have. I'm going to purchase this from Amazon. It's not a perfect solution, but it will give me extra storage when needed.

Very cool. Especially if youre not around your computer to drop off big files. I use airdroid through the web takes about 10 min to download from phone and delete. If you can access wifi you can upload to google drive then delete from phone memory. Thats the best option cuz u can view it anytime without toting around that usb memory card.

That's pretty cool and should do the job. Just throw a 128GB micro in there and you are golden.
