Galaxy S6 Edge has white/pinkish notification light, messed up boot screen, and shut off.

My galaxy s6 seems to no longer work and I've tried everything to get it to work again but have been unable to do so. Has anyone seen this issue where the boot screen has a bunch of blue lines across and the notification stays on white/pinkish even after it shuts down?

I tried doing that too but it didn't work. I'm leaning towards hardware failure too. I plugged it into my computer one time and a warning popped up indicating a surge in the USB port. I handed this phone down to my daughter and she used to play a lot of games on it. I know this phone can get pretty hot when stressed especially gaming. Could the sustained high temperature from gaming be the main cause for this failure?

The USB port warning was on the phone or the computer?

Excess temps could certainly damage components on the motherboard, although I think the phone would know enough to either throttle its performance when it gets that hot, or just shut off. It could just be due to age.
