Galaxy S6 - How can I get sound only through a bluetooth earpiece??

A

AC Question

Galaxy S6 - Is there a way to totally shut off the volume on my phone while maintaining volume control of my bluetooth earpiece? I'm talking all ringers, notifications... everything! I haven't had much luck finding any apps that will make a positive separation of the two volumes. Thanks for any help!

Technically, if you have a headphone connected, it should mute the phone and all sounds should come through the headphones...

I'm still hearing email and other app notifications on both my phone and earpiece, no matter what I do with my stock volume controls. Drives me nuts.

Do you have separate volume control for the earpiece? If you do mute the phone maybe?
That would sure annoy me also..
When you pair the headphones, once connected, tap on the settings icon next to the headphone name and see how its set up, there may be a setting within the app to might need to tweak... Welcome to the forums btw! :)

No luck at all......One of my earpieces has a separate volume control on it and the other doesn't. Neither is able to trump the phone volume controls. The settings icon next to either in my bluetooth settings doesn't do anything for the volume either. If anyone knows of an app that they believe will allow me to totally separate my bluetooth volume from my phone volume please let me know.
