I picked up a new S6 phone last week and while I was transferring files over and before the phone has been activated I got locked out. The fingerprint didn't recognize me, the passcode was not recognized and I don't remember the gmail account or password bc I just set up the gmail account. I don't use gmail for anything and didn't write it down bc i didn't think I would need it for security access. I tried a hard rest but then get the "abnornal factory reset page" when I restart it and then I'm stuck because I don't know my gmail account. I also tried setting up an account on Samsung using my Yahoo email account and then accessing it that way but no luck.
Right now I have a 10 day old phone that has set to be used and I am locked out. Does any one have any ideas?

Thanks...I tried that but it still could not access my samsung account on my phone.
I bought the phone from verizon and received it Jan 6. When I was setting up the initial account I think I created a new one bc it stated I had to have a Gmail account. and I can not remember the account or password. The Samsung account system on line does not recognize anything that connects to my phone.
I did a hard factory reset but it did not wipe all the data off of it. I tried setting up a new google and samsung account to try and connect but nothing seems to work.
I also tried tried using the new samsung account I set up online on the "Abnormal Factory Reset" screen but it didn't work.
Is there anything I can download to get around the AFR screen?

I'd contact Google if you can't remember your Google account password. Once that is reset you'll be able to get in.

Good luck!
