Galaxy S6 Wake Up

Hi everybody :
I have a Galaxy S6. I set up the Palm Swipe to wake up the device. But, I have a question about how to use it. When the phone is lying flat on my desk, the Palm Swipe works pretty well. But, if I'm holding the phone, in my hand, and it's in a flat / horizontal position, the Palm Swipe doesn't seem to work. ?????? I'm getting the "technique" down.......have to move the palm of my hand SLOWLY over the surface.

It takes a little practice waving a bit higher near the proximity sensor. If you still have issues, we can try Plan B.
