Can someone who already has the S7 please let know if there is a dual camera mode setting within the camera modes, or a way to download it. My S6 has it, I looked at an S7 at bestbuy and didn't see it on the phone or in the Galaxy app store. Thanks.

Re: camera question

Don't see the option for dual camera mode on S7 edge, when I clicked download I didn't see dual camera mode there are well.

Re: camera question

Thanks for checking. Did they do away with that for the S7? I like the option! I may just keep my S6 edge. I like the IR blaster too.

Re: camera question

It's a camera mode where the front and back cameras take a picture at the same time. You can put yourself into any photo.

Re: camera question

Dual camera is Samsung addon and need to download it from Samsung app store. Im sure S7/S7 Edge support it.

Re: camera question

Dual camera is an available mode to download from Samsung. Just press MODE while in camera and select download at the top.

Good news. This wasn't showing up on the display model at bestbuy, or a couple others who replied to this thread.

Yes, they added a few modes after. Maybe they needed to be updated to ensure marshmallow compatability

Has anyone had success using the dual camera on the S7? I can get the picture-in-picture as if it was going to work, but when I press the button to take the photo, it only records the main camera.

I've not used the mode before but I've just tested it, when you go to gallery it doesn't show both photos overlaid, what you get is a little box top right which you can click on to toggle between the two photos.

Aha! I found I had it set to "Flip". Discovered all the different options by pressing the two cameras symbol up at the top-right (see attached image). Hope that helps others with the same problem.
