galaxy s7 edge problem

i have tried to hard reset my galaxy s7 edge to reset back to factory settings but when i go into recovery mode and press reset to factory settings it doesnt go onto next screen a message at the bottom of the screen says that this device cannot be reset back to factory settings.
Can anybody help with with problem please.

Welcome to Android Central! Is there a reason why you want to factory reset it? Has it been malfunctioning?

Are you able to remove your Google account in Settings>Accounts​, and then do the factory reset?
