Galaxy S7 - Home button response

Is anyone having issues with the response time of their home button? I don't think I had this problem when I first got it but now most of the time when I press the home button to see what time it is or to check if I received any messages, it takes awhile to light up. Any idea on how to fix it?

I was having some issues with the connection of the SD card so I took it out and verified it was properly placed. The SD seems to be working consistently now and I don't have the lag problem so maybe that was it. Thank you!
