Galaxy S7 not recognizing Aux Cable

[AC Question]

Ive only owned my S7 for about a month. so about a week ago I was listening to my S7 using an Aux cable plugged into an adapter that i plug my flight helmet into while flying. While listening my phone suddenly restarted itself and I couldn't hear music through it. It works fine with the headphones that came with the phone and my other pair I use to workout in. I have done the basic steps of checking for debris in the jack even through its been a case since day one that has a plug to prevent lent from getting in while not in use.

I've tried 3 different no 4 different aux cords (I bought a brand new one to be sure) and nothing.
