AC Question

Hi I got my galaxy s7 about 7 months ago and I've been seeing it's processing power slowly deteriorate. So today I decided to run a benchmark test and I was amazed that my device was only scoring a score of 88,968! looking at the ranking charts I don't understand why I got such a low score. Also, small side note, when I looked at the name of my device it had 2 names. "SM-G930P" and "samsung 三星 Galaxy". I bought my phone in the USA through virgin mobile (uses sprint) did they sell me a fake device?

Possibly, but I doubt it - they'd be responsible for replacing it with a real one if they had. I suspect that 三星 means S7.

Try clearing the cache in Settings/Storage, then restart into recovery and clear the cache (not the Dalvik cache) from there. Then restart normally and try again. It's so easy for an app to not clear its cache, that the cache eventually can get full and the phone starts to crawl.. (The same thing can happen in the Linux cache, which is the one you clear from recovery.)
