- Mods please move to S7 section, not S7 Edge section. My mistake -

Hello,

I'm currently living in China and bought the S7 G9308 and loving it. Of course, being China - Google Play Services are not included.

It seems that this version can now be easily rooted according to the second post in this thread, which is good news for Snapdragon versions :

http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s7-rooting-roms-hacks/658418-u-s-carrier-s7-models-have-locked-bootloaders-no-rooting.html#post5078427

However, is it possible that I could flash another stock rom ( such as Hong Kong or international) that would have had included Google Play Services upon purchase, and remain un-rooted?

I would prefer not to root and lose warranty just yet.

The research I've done has had some mixed answers about this.

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks very much :)

The simple answer is definitely not. You have a Snapdragon quad core chipset on WCDMA/SCDMA modem as opposed to the Global models which have the Exynos octa core chipset on GSM.
