Galaxy S7 speaker phone echo

Hi guys, a friend of mine just got herself a new galaxy s7 today and immediately noticed an issue when calling over speakerphone that the person she's talking to can hear themselves echo every time they talk.

Issue only happens when it's on speaker phone, she's with Rogers and they only allow you to use the phone for 30 minutes worth of calls if you want to return it. She's concerned this can't be fixed, she had a galaxy s6 before this that had no issues like this

Any suggestions about what can be causing this background echo for the callers?

I would try a system restore and if that doesn't help then return it. No reason to mess around.

30 minutes? Really?
