Hello, I have Galaxy S7 for a 2 weeks now and I noticed there is something odd with device. I don't know what is it (probably vibration motor) but when I knock on phone (most noticable spot is on the top left side where is vibrating motor located) or put it on table (less gently) whole phone resonates (or vibrates) for a very short time. Seems like vibrating motor is not locked while turned off (all vibrations and feautures which use them are turned off). Don't know if it's common ting on Galaxy S7 devices or I should return phone back.

No it's off, basically everything using vibrations is off. I tried to explain it up here. For example when I'm hodling phone (position doesn't matter) and I knock on it, it kinda vibrate. I'ts hard to explain, imagine steel pipe hitting with another steel pipe, it vibrates for a while after impact and that's what happening with to my pohone after some kind of impact. I just don't know if it's common thing on Galaxy S7 phone or if it's something wrong with my mobile device. It doeasn't affect funcionality of phone (or I didn't realized till now), it is just kind of anying and hard to get used to.

Any strange sound during vibration motor on? I don´t think so.

Sometimes my phone it makes too. My previous Galaxy Note 3 did it too. ... if I knock near the rear camera.

I think it can be done by optical stabilization elements in rear camera.
