Android Central Question
Hello, I have a Galaxy S8+ and I am kind of disappointed:
- Running slow at some points, the software is clunky?
- Battery life, suddently the battery is lasting way less having to plug it in at least one/twice a day?
I have done all the steps, reset phone, tune developer mode settings (which helped a bit), reduce screen resolution, brightness, deactivate alway-on screen....
At the end, they offer a lot of features that you cannot use because it makes the phone run slower or drain battery to fast? I have never used the highest resolution option because then the battery lasts 4 hours. It is true that I use a lot of apps and I am constantly connected to like 4 email accounts, etc... but, this was a premium phone with a very high price tag on it.
For the price, I believe these are things that should not happen.
Now, I am tall, so I have big hands, I would like to have a big screen.
I dont want to spend $1K on a phone (dont want iPhone, dont one another Galaxy Phone that will have to replace in a year for the same reasons). I am considering the oneplus 6t, I used to have a 3t I think and it worked great, at least softwarewise was way better than Samsung Google tuned OS. Also I was considering Huawei becuase of their battery life?
Any recommendations?
Thanks!
JR
