Galaxy s8 screen help!

[Android Central Question]

I've downloaded certain apps that have changed how my app icons and home pages work. How do I go about correcting this? Thought about transferring all pictures and valuable information to sd card and do hard factory reset but I didn't necessarily want to do that. I'm not sure if the new phone update wasn't the culprit.

What were the “certain apps”?

It sounds more like the software update to me. If so, use themes to change it to your liking.

Either that or the apps are launchers or icon sets.
