Galaxy s8 Unresponsive, Won't Turn On, Won't Reset, Nothing

Hey Guys, my Galaxy s8 is only 1 day old, yet when I pulled it out of my pocket today, it won't turn on. There's a green flashing LED (notification) but the phone is completely unresponsive. I've tried holding the power button for 30 seconds, holding both power and volume down for 1 minute, tried the force touch on the bottom of the phone, nothing. I even tried plugging it into the charger, nothing.

The phone had 75% battery right before this happened. What can I do? Any ideas why it would become completely unresponsive?

Don't EVER and I mean EVER mess with faulty tech.

A similar thing happened to me right at that 70ish battery mark. Screen went dead. Wasn't sure if the phone froze or what but it wouldn't respond to anything until I held the power button and the volume down button down.

My thoughts exactly. Since you're still in the 14 day return period, just return it. Something is clearly wrong with it.

Same thing happened to me with my S8+. Prior to it happening, it was making sounds, despite no incoming notifications. Then the screen just refused to turn on. Called up Samsung and returned it. I'll probably jump back in with an unlocked S8 when that ships.

Was there ever a solution or explanation to this problem? Having the exact same issue with my S8 right now.
