Learned vm apparently doesnt come standard with AT&T anymore and will have to download one. If you have one other than your carrier which one do you use?

Are you talking about the visual voicemail? If so it's there you just have to press the voicemail button on the dialer to set it up.

As previously stated, the visual voicemail is on the bottom left of the dialer. Click the voicemail icon and it'll take you into the visual voicemail app.

The voicemail icon on the dialer is not Visual Voicemail. It just calls whatever your voicemail number is.

For what its worth, when I inserted my T-Mobile sim, it downloaded and installed the T-Mobile Visual Voicemail app. Not sure if ATT does the same.

Never changed my plan so I have no clue why I wouldn't have just voice mail period. AT&T if we make any changes to the plan itself lose the grandfathered unlimited internet. No plan we looked into even compares in what we pay now so we aren't changing it until they make us.

With att we either have to set up visual voicemail when we first start setting up the new phone or we have to click on the voicemail icon to set up visual voicemail. It's no longer a separate app for download. There was a thread about it a while back.

I have AT&T. Pressing the speaker in phone bring up visual voice mail. Works like a charm.

Wow I didn't know this til now! I had actually downloaded a visual voice-mail app because I thought it wasn't available. Just activated it now and it's up and going. Learn something new every day!
