After upgrading from an S7 to an S9 a few weeks ago, I seem to basically never get Facebook push notifications. I'll open the app up and I have 3 or 4 but nothing in my home screen to tell me that. I've tried everything with the notification settings to fix this. Anyone else have this issue?

Which launcher are you using on your S9? I get notifications on my Facebook icon using Nova. I don't use it but would imagine using the Samsung Experience launcher would also do it.

I'm assuming I use whatever the stock launcher is but tbh I am not familiar with what you mean.

I'm also using the stock launcher and not getting a notification number on the icon. I do however get the navigation bar alerts to messages. Strange... 🤔

I get notifications for Facebook Messenger, emails, texts, Instagram, and Twitter. But nothing for Facebook.

That's strange. I don't use the stock launcher but double check in your settings to make sure Facebook is enabled for the notifications. There may not be such a setting, idk. If this really bothers you a lot you could change launchers. Nova is great and would solve the problem. It's available in the play store and also you'd need to download TeslaUnread. Any questions just ask.

Make sure it isn't battery optimized. You won't get notifications then either.

Yeah Samsung broke it in Oreo with their launcher That's why it's works fine with other launchers like Nova.
