Galaxy S9 Plus display issue

[Android Central Question]

Hi I am facing display issues on my S9+ bought 3 days back in india. It was working fine but suddenly the top area of the display stopped working. Resetting is not helping. How many are facing this issue.

I too am having this issue. I thought it was the case, and set it to sensitivity, but I am still having some spots where I have to really swipe or tap multiple times to get a response. Might have to go to T-mobile for an exchange..

It's all over the news, try to get it replaced asap, but I'm sure Samsung will recall those damaged and replace them soon

No problems here so far with my S9.

I too am having this issue. I thought it was the case, and set it to sensitivity, but I am still having some spots where I have to really swipe or tap multiple times to get a response. Might have to go to T-mobile for an exchange..

I have problems where I can't get an icon to respond on the home screen, particularly when I want to move it. A couple of times an error message has flashed with something about the proximity sensor.

Subsequently I have found that holding the phone farther away get it going again.

Thinking this may be about the pfoximity sensor.
