Galaxy S9 plus -- video in 3rd party apps (like instagram)

It zooms in like x3 and has the stabilization on so its forever trying to focus if I'm moving) I've fixed this in the regular camera settings, but want this to stop asap everywhere else!!!! The camera is also very grainy in 3rd party apps.
