Galaxy S9 + Question

In the past I had a Galaxy S1 ,S3 and Note 4. I was going to upgrade to the Note 7 but we all know how that ended so I ended up getting an iPhone 7 Plus. My contract runs out in September and I want to make the switch back to Android as I cant stand iOS. will it be worth me upgrading to the Galaxy S9 Plus coming from a iPhone 7 Plus? Or should I hold off until next year. I have had a play around with one in store and they seem really nice. I would just like some help from every day users.

Any advice would be great.

S9 Plus should be fine, HOWEVER by that point you should also have the choice of the Note 9, and the successor to the iPhone X. Evaluate at that point. Go to a carrier store or BestBuy, etc and try the different models available at that point. Keep your eyes on the front page of Android Central and iMore for more info about these upcoming phones.

Like the other person said that'll be a great time since note 9 and iPhone 11 or whatever will be out by then. S9 plus will be at a great discount too.

You may also want to order directly from Samsung as the 128GB and 256GB variants should be available for pre-order in the US. They will still support the 400GB micro SD card as well.
