Galaxy tab 3 cannot hook up hdmi to sharp aquos

Hey I bought all the stuff to hook up my tab to my hd tv but all I get is a blank screen. I bought the adapter and plugged power to the adapter but still no picture can anyone help?

Okay. WHICH TAB.

I think most of them do not support Mirroring, Slimport or anything.
