i don't think camera is blurry infact its great i think that there might be some problem with your device camera and i should suggest you to seek technical support and replace it !!

My Tab 3 8.0 takes beautiful photos, unless my wife is using it..... then all the photos are blurry. :-)

It's either a defective tablet camera or plain ole unsteady user error.

Actually the camera on the tab 3 8.0 is better than most tablet cameras. Pics are definitely decent quality (for a tablet).

love the camera on my galaxy tab 3 8.0 nothing wrong with the pictures unless you don't hold you hand still then they end up blurry.but you get that with any camera.
A review on youtube said that pics taken with the galaxy tab 3 inside have a purple tint to them but I haven't found that to be the case

Sometimes I think reviewers make stuff up just to create a controversy or make a big deal out of nothing.

Again, the still pics are all bad, video great . It is still under warranty so you think there could be something wrong. Where do i take it

Bench test it. Hold it perfectly still with the bottom edge resting on a table and use voice commands to take a few pictures. Especially indoors my 7.0 takes better pics using voice command, a little finnicky trying to push the button.

Please give details on how to use voice commands for pic taking? Thanks in advance!

Open settings and scroll to 'voice control' turn this on and in the right hand column check the 'camera' box, and the 'alarm' and 'music' boxes too if you need these. The camera on my tab 3.8.0 is pretty good for a device of this type. I took my tablet along with my DSLR when my daughter had her first baby. The pictures from the tablet compare very favourably with the ones from the DSLR. The pictures will never be as sharp or noise free as a DSLR but they are by no means poor.

Today I took some pictures with the tablet in my garden and was blown away with the quality and from an amateur photographer that is some compliment I can assure you. The pictures do look better on the tablet screen as this is only around 6x4 inches and is back lit but zooming in at 4 times still gives sharp images. If the video is ok then as it uses the same camera it points to a slow shutter speed due to low light. Open the blurred image and open the details of the image by pressing the menu button at the bottom left. If the shutter speed, or exposure time as they call it, is below 1/20 sec you will need a steady hand to stop camera shake and so blur the image. My garden pictures had an exposure time of over 1/300 sec as it was daylight but shots in the house have been reasonable at 1/15 sec when using voice commands.
