Galaxy Tab S3 vs Galaxy Tab A 8.0 with s-pen (2019 model)

I'm planning to buy a Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019 model) looks good and very promising. Planning on using this to read my ebooks, notes, etc.
It costs around $313.63. However I spotted a deal in Amazon Prime on a Galaxy Tab S3 with spen costing $379.99.
Any thoughts on what the better deal is? Thanks

The Tab S3 is (was) the "flagship". It has the 9.7" screen, possibly better CPU (s3 has a quad core Snapdragon 820 but at higher clocks than the octo-core Exynos), more RAM and a better quality screen.

The only benefit to the Tab A might be longer OS version upgrade support as it should get major OS version updates through Android R at least where Pie, eventually, will probably be the last version for the Tab S3.
