Galaxy watch plugin keeps gps active 24/7

I have a S9+ and a galaxy watch connected to it and since I first installed galaxy wearable app it keeps gps on constantly and I think it's due t the find my phone feature of the app. How can I fix this and keep the functionality?

You can't disable it AND keep the functionality... You need to decide for either/or

I turned off gps and just have battery saving Mode turned on. Battery drain is about the same as just having gps turned on.
