Hi all, I've looked around a while and can't seem to find help on this issue, so maybe someone can point me in the right direction.
In the first few days of my Optimus V (stock rooted), I've noticed my battery draining a bit on the fast side. My roommate got one at the very same time and hers drains way slower, so it's at least a measurable comparison.
In the battery usage panel, I found Gallery to be almost always open (even after numerous force quits) and it having the most amount of battery drain, by far. Almost always over 50%.
Again, for comparison, my roommate's Gallery app doesn't even show up here.
I originally thought it was the contacts widget I had, or perhaps a background service of Facebook, etc. that's pulling in images from the web, but I can't seem to pin it down.
Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
