Gallery application

So I checked my battery usage and found put that the gallery app is using 30% of my battery. Is those normal? I have started to us the built in task manager and killing the gallery app after use, but it is still using 30% of my battery. Any suggestions?

depends on your usage of the tab, its possible.

how much % of battery do you have left at the time of checking?
what have you been using for so far?
how long has screen been on?

I've been unplugged for 14 hours now, my battery is at 35% and my gallery app has dropped to 17% (second only to the screen). The 30% was at about 75% charge remaining. It's very strange. (also, I don't use the gallery app very often)

apparently its a common problem for many people, including me, I think its likely a bug with gallery app that keeps consuming battery even if you don't use it.

i dont know how to fix it, but i do think it gradually goes down over time.
