Gallery - disabling "all photos" folder

Is there anyway to disable this folder? I am happy with seperate folders, no need to show me all of them grouped up....! Also any good secret/private apps to keep some sensitive files and photos?

Ok, just wanted to clarify. I'm not familiar with Huawei's gallery app, so I'll let others try to answer that.

I've heard good things about Piktures and Focus.

Do you use Google Photos for your gallery?

Yes, I do. But there's no way to disable the main "all photos" screen in Google Photos, so you probably wouldn't like it. I like how albums work in Google Photos, since I have all of my photos synced to the cloud -- instead of creating separate directories on storage, the albums in Google Photos are essentially virtual. This means one photos could belong to any number of albums without having to duplicate it many times. It's still possible to use Google Photos to view different album folders on the phone's storage by tapping the Menu button and Device Folders, but you can't have that come up as the default view.
